Don't listen to any of the rumors that say that Jamie Lynn Spears and her boyfriend, Casey Aldridge, are no longer together or don't love each other anymore, because Casey's great-uncle says that the two are doing just fine and are very much in love! OK! Magazine reports:
Since news of the 16-year-old actress' unexpected pregnancy broke in late December, friends say the couple have been basically inseparable. “Jamie technically still lives with her mama," one source explains, "but she spends her free time with Casey." Which means the two lovebirds are constantly making the hour-long trek between her home in Kentwood, La., and his place in Gloster, Miss., where Casey is busy working hard to earn a living."
Aww that's sweet. Some old pastor guy named Odus is hopeful about the love that his nephew has for the 16-year-old girl that he knocked up. Wow, that just shows you how different the South is. Sure, their values are a bit different than the norm... as they seriously considerthe presence of love in some teenage kids that put themselves in a difficult situation... but that's not even the biggest difference between the south and everything else... I'm more concerned with the fact that the Great Uncle's name is Odus! That's just bizarre!
What's next? Grampa Opie and Cousin Rhubarb are going to head over to Grandma Betty-Lou's house and bake up celebratory sweet potato pie for the two love birds? On second thought, I guess I can understand the excitement... I mean, despite Jamie Lynn's young age, I'm sure most of her family is just happy that Casey isn't her first cousin! You know, out-of-family relationships are a rarity down there!
