I guess Jessica Simpson realized that even though she's dating Dallas Cowboy's quarterback, Tony Romo, she doesn't have to entirely ruin his career! She must have learned her lesson when she cost Tony the game when her presence in the stands clearly caused him to play poorly in his loss against the Philadelphia Eagles on December 16th. The New York Post says:
This is a huge blow to superstitious Giants fans who wanted Simpson there to jinx her golden boy.
"She is not attending. She's working on a new album," said Cindy Berger, publicist for the dishy distraction. "She will not be there, but she'll be watching [on TV] and cheering [Romo] on.""
See, that's a shame. Now if Tony does win, Jessica's only gonna get to see it on TV. She's not going to be there to embrace him after a big triumphant playoff win. See, if I were Romo, I wouldn't get distracted and lose the game if Jessica was there. I'd absolutely dominate. Then when the game was over, I would run right up, take off my helmet to show my strong, prominate, facial structure and lift Jessica off her feet and take her down to the field with me. Then, I'd pull some raspberry wine out of my pants and make love to Jessica on the 50-yard-line. All of Texas from that point forward would stop calling me by my birth name and start calling me something much more accurate and representative of who I am: "God."
