OK! Magazine now claims that it can confirm that Britney Spears has officially broken up with her paparazzo boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib, and is now feeling better than ever because of it! Specifically, OK! Magazine reports:
Los Angeles Police Department officer Mike Lopez tells OK! exclusively that Brit "has never filed a police report against Adnan Ghalib nor has she requested a restraining order against him."
Without Adnan by her side for one of the first times since their romance began shortly before Christmas, Britney was out and about, seeming to enjoy herself as she stopped by an L.A. Petco store to purchase $100 worth of goodies for her growing menagerie of pets at home.
"She was smiling from ear-to-ear," one witness, who spotted Brit shopping with pal Sam Lutfi, tells OK!. And if you don't believe the witnesses, take Britney's word for it: "Today's a good day," she told a group of photographers. "I feel great. I'm so happy right now.""
Many people are not only surprised by this sudden break-up Adnan Ghalib, they also believe that this is a move in the right direction for Britney... which, of course, it probably is a positive thing for Britney considering there were many reports that Adnan was just using Britney so that he could snap a few exclusive, intimate photos with her and cash in big! So, in a sense, it's like Britney has gotten a monkey off her back, which is great.
As for that Adnan guy, his 15 minutes of fame are over... which is a shame... because a few years back, I was romantically involved with a celebrity (whose name will remain undisclosed for legal reasons) and I was able to take advantage of her for years! She was always talking about how I was a nobody and I just kept bringing her down... but then I would always win her over with my crafty ways. I would just tell her... you know, love's hard work, and if you're not suffering most of the time, it's not love! She bought into that for a while until her lawyers finally got the better of her and convinced her to kick me to the curb. But hey, I had a good run.
Anyway, here's Britney looking crazy out in Hollywood this weekend. Notice that in a few of the pictures, she's opening up an Amy Winehouse CD. Wow, if she's looking for some inspiration for life in Amy's music, that has to be the worst case of the blind leading the blind ever!
