Sylvester Stallone

The New York Post's Page Six reports that although 61-year-old Sylvester Stallone vehemently denies to Time Magazine that he used steroids, he admits that he took prescription testosterone to get up to 209 pounds of pure Italian-Stallion beef for the new "Rambo" movie! Page Six reports Stallone told Time Magazine, in an issue that will be released tomorrow, the following:

"Rambo." (He weighed 40 pounds less in the earlier "Rambo" movies.) "HGH [human growth hormone] is nothing. Anyone who calls it a steroid is grossly misinformed..."

"Testosterone to me is so important for a sense of well-being when you get older. Everyone over 40 years old would be wise to investigate it because it increases the quality of your life. Mark my words. In 10 years, it will be over the counter.""

See, I don't know anything about hormones and biology and all that... but to me, this whole thing sounds strikingly similar to Bill Clinton's "I didn't inhale" a few years back. And, I'm no doctor, but if you're some old 60-something year old guy with a crooked lip like Stallone and you suddenly balloon up into a massive specimen who can bend metal with his teeth and eats shards of glass for breakfast, it just doesn't seem healthy.

Not to mention, how much of a "ya-dude" does Stallone sound like right now... you know those kids with blow-out haircuts, fake tans, and waxed eyebrows... I can picture Stallone 40 years ago living at home back in his 20s and his parents find a needle filled with steroids in his room and they approach him and all he can say is "MA! It's not steroids! It's only testosterone I'm shooting in my ass! Speaking of which, where's my protein!?!? Maaaaaa! Where the hell did you put my protein!? MAAAAA! THE PROTEEEEEEIIIIIN!!!!!
