Eva Longoria says that it's tough being in a relationship with a sports superstar, and because of her experience as the wife of San Antonio Spurs star, Tony Parker, she feels for Jessica Simpson because of all of the brutal criticisms that she recently faced when her boyfriend, Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Tony Romo, lost in the NFL playoffs. Specifically, OK! Magazine reports:
“That's the life of an athlete’s woman,” she said at the premiere of her new movie, Over Her Dead Body, where the actress also said she can empathize with Jessica Simpson who continues to face harsh criticisms from football fans who speculate she's a bad luck charm to her boyfriend, Dallas Cowboy quarterback Tony Romo. “I felt for her," Eva expained. "I've been through that and I was always blamed for Tony's bad games.""
See, I agree with Eva here... it's unfair to say that either she or Jessica Simpson should be held responsible for their lovers' poor performances in sporting events because they're "bad luck charms". That's not it at all. It's simply that, these chicks are so hot... maybe the hottest two chicks in the whole world (well, close... after Britney, of course)... that their lovers just don't care about the game anymore.
It's a lack of motivation to play the game. Think about it, if you're Tony Parker, do you really want to deal with getting pushed around and getting bumped and bruised for a stupid basketball game when you know in the back of your mind that in about 2 hours from when the game ends, you'll be all washed up and back home in a comfy bed filled with rose pedals and Eva Longoria waiting to embrace you in her sexy lingerie? That's stuff only men dream of! Scratch that, even men who are already dead and in heaven dream of that kind of stuff! That's how good it is. Plus, it's probably worse with Tony Romo... he's gotta worry about getting crushed by 350 pound lineman all day at work. Why deal with that when you can end your season and head to Mexico to drink frozen margaritas and make sweet passionate love to Jessica Simpson? I'll take the latter over winning the superbowl anyday! And in the morning, I'm making waffles for me and Jess! Delicious! So, in the end, I can understand their underperformance in the world of sports at times.
Here's Eva outside of her salon in L.A. on Tuesday with her mother. Damn, her mom looks like a tough broad!
