Eva Mendes has checked into the Cirque Lodge rehabilitation facility in Utah... and yes, it's the same rehab center that Lindsay Lohan stayed in a few months back. Specifically, People Magazine reports:
"Eva has been working hard for the past year and made a positive decision to take some much-needed time off to proactively attend to some personal issues that, while not critical, she felt deserved some outside professional support. Out of respect for Eva's privacy, we do not wish to discuss further details," her rep told PEOPLE Friday."
Damn... every once in a while in the world of celebrity, something side-swipes you out of nowhere. This is one of those times. Who would have thought that a hot baby carrot (or should I say, "hot tamale", to honor her latin roots?) like Eva would end up checking herself into rehab? And what are these "personal issues" her rep is referring to? Obviously, it's probably related to some form of substance abuse, which is always a tough thing to deal with... so, I don't know, I hope she gets help soon so she can continue going about being the smoking hot Latina that she is! I remember when Lindsay Lohan was at the Cirque Lodge in Utah... we barely saw her for months! I don't know if I can go through that again with another hot chick like Eva! So, please, get well soon! If not for you, do it for ME!!! I SO don't need this right now!
Oh, and by the way, this can't be good for Eva's Campari endorsement deal! Unless, of course, they take a new advertisement approach. I can see the new slogan now: "Need a break from life? Drink Campari liqueur! It's your ticket to rehab!". Okay, okay... maybe that was a little bit harsh... but this is business baby! Desperate times call for desperate measures, and I think that a new slogan like that can really take a bad situation and make it good overnight! What can I say, I've got a ruthless business mind! I'm basically like Donald Trump, only with better hair!
