Katharine McPhee married 42-year-old actor, Nick Cokas (shown above left), Saturday in Beverly Hills. Specfically, Us Magazine reports:Katharine McPhee and actor Nick Cokas wed Saturday in Beverly Hills.
Approximately 300 guests – including a gospel choir – filled the Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church for the 45-minute service.
McPhee's bridesmaids wore floor-length pink dresses.
The flowers included pink, purple, peach and white roses as well as green hydrangea and pink cherry blossoms.
Rumer Willis, McPhee's costar in the upcoming film I Know What Boys Like, was in attendance.
McPhee, 23, and Cokas, 42 – who met in 2005 when they performed in a L.A. theater production of The Ghost and Mrs. Muir – have been dating for more than a year."
All of that sounds very sweet... I'm happy for Katharine! Oh, wait... did she just says that she's 23 and her husband is 42!? Whaaaat! What is this guy? Some kind of dude version of a cougar... so what does that make him? A "Dougar"? That's it, I'm coining that word right now... "Dougar". As for the 19-year age difference, Katharine tells Us Magazine:
"I love [older men]," she has said. "They're just wiser, and they're less about themselves and more about you.""
Dammit! That's what I've been doing wrong with all the chicks my age... I'm too much about myself! That's it, I have to start looking out for the women... but it's just so hard to do... I mean, I'll be out, I'll be into a chick... then I'll catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror and I'm thrown all off... I can only think to myself... DAMN! I look good! So, it's not my fault it's all about me!
That's not all, Katharine also says she wants to make a lot of babies with this guy. Specifically, she told Us:
I want to have, like, 15 babies," she told Stuff last year. "I've always wanted to be pregnant. One year for Halloween, I decided to be pregnant, so I got this nun costume, and I put a big belly under it. I showed my parents and said I want to go to school as a pregnant nun. My dad sat me down and said, 'Katharine, you can't!'""
15 babies! That's a lot of human reproduction! Does this guy really know what he's getting himself into!? It takes roughly 15 years to make 15 babies... and that's only if it's back to back! That means he'll be about 57-years-old when their done! All I can say is, I just hope this guy has some strong swimmers, because it looks like it's gonna be a long, uphill battle for those 42-year-old tadpoles of his from start to finish!
