Despite living in a world of loneliness and temptation, Lindsay Lohan claims she's been making a fine recovery since she last was confined within the boundaries of the Cirque Lodge rehabilitation facility in Utah. Specifically, People Magazine reports:
"There are friends that have been hard to hang out with because they've gone done a different path," the actress, 21, tells the U.K. edition of Glamour for its March issue, in her first interview since being in rehab. "But it's hard because I'm the kind of person who wants to trust everyone."
Despite the temptations put before her and others of her generation – Lohan expresses empathy for Britney Spears and Amy Winehouse – she insists she's comfortable with her own company.
"I'm fine being alone during the day, but I hate being alone at night. I like having friends around me, but now I'd much rather be at home," she says, pointing out that she now suddenly has more hours of the day to fill, which she tries to do by writing in her journal and watching TV.
"That's not to say I'll never go to a club again," she says, "because I'd be lying."
Finally, asked what she believes is the biggest misconception others have about her, Lohan replies, "that I don't have my head in the right place. That, and probably that I'm not a good person... because actually I am.""
Wow, it's worse than I thought. Lindsay considers drinking alcohol straight from the bottle and having one-night stands with Italian guys progress!?!? After six months out of rehab, sure, she's been out on the club scene a lot less than before and she hasn't had a DUI since her stint at Cirque Lodge, but she's still got a lot of work to do! Plus, notice that she made it very clear that she's not saying that she'll never go to a club again, because then she'd be lying. Well, at least when it comes to making bad decisions and trying to drown emotional pain away with alcohol, she knows to never say never!!! I have to admit, that takes a certain level of poise and maturity!
So, what do you guys think? Another 6 months and the old Lindsay will be back? She's already saying she's lonely... even after "doing the nasty" with pretty much half of the world! Which just proves that every day is struggle for this chick, and every single minute of every single day she's looking for something to alleviate feelings of emptiness and loneliness. Aww, Lindsay, that's awful, I think I can help! One of those lonely nights, just give me a call, I'll come over and sooth you... "Nail 'em while they're vulnerable, that's my motto!"
