Lindsay Lohan's mother, Dina Lohan, is proud of her daughter's
nude photoshoot in New York Magazine. She believes that her daughter's nudity in that shoot was "tastefully done" because it's a form of art! People Magazine says:
"It was very tastefully done," Dina tells PEOPLE of the photos, a recreation of Marilyn Monroe's legendary 1962 photo shoot shot by Bert Stern. "I respect the photographer as an artist, so I look at them artistically. For him to call Lindsay 46 years later and to say can you recreate these photos is an honor. I looked at it as art, and as Lindsay doing a character. So I don't look at them like it's Playboy; she was being a character. So if you look at it that way, you can look at it as a mother."
And Dina adds that had the photos been inappropriate, Lindsay's sister Ali would not have visited the set. "Trust me," Dina tells PEOPLE, "I wouldn't have sent my 14-year-old to the set [if the shoot was in bad taste]. And obviously Lindsay wouldn't do anything with her sister there, that was risqué.""
Hmm... I guess she's right, it's probably a little more tasteful than a Playboy photoshoot. But, I'm curious, what does Dina think about her daughter's other revealing moments in the past... like an impromptu nip-slip here and an inadvertant naked upskirt there... because, let me tell you, those things are so classy, they make this little "artistic" photoshoot look like cheap pornography. I mean, what's classier than a woman taking pictures on the red carpet and having everything she's got pop out from under her dress and say hello. Yep, it's basically not preventable... so you can't blame Lindsay, sometimes those body parts just need to breathe!!! It's not that Lindsay is just trashy because her mom never taught her anything in life. Nope, that's not it at all!
Oh, and about not letting your younger daughter, Ali, be on-set of something risqué or inappropriate... I have to admit, Dina, that's pretty nice of you. I mean, it's good that at least one of your daughters are getting a little guidance and support from their mommy... when Lindsay was 14, she was out chasing older boys and experimenting with mind-expanding drugs... now, instead of bad things like that, your 14-year-old just goes to her older sister's nude photoshoot. Ahh, now that's bringing the family together, Dina! Well done!
