Jennifer Lopez finally gave birth to twins (a girl and a boy) early this morning at 12:12am Eastern Standard Time at the North Shore University Hospital in Long Island, NY. Specifically, OK! Magazine reports:
While the names have not yet been announced, a rep for the singer is telling reporters that the girl, who was born first at 12:12am, weighed in at 5 lbs, 7 oz, while their new son followed 11 minutes later and weighed an even 6 lbs.
This is J.Lo's first go at motherhood, though she has surely learned a lot from playing stepmom to Marc's three children."
Ahh, that's beautiful... birth is always a nice little thing, but when it's two little kids being pushed out into the glory of this world, it's even more beautiful-er (eh, I don't know if that's a word). Anyway, well, I'm happy for Jennifer and Marc, and I'm glad they gave birth to two human children. Sure, it's one of those creepy pair of twins where each is of a different gender, but hey, it's still nice. And judging by the size of J-Lo's stomach when she was pregnant... I was pretty worried that instead of two little babies, there would just be one little baby cartoon elephant coming out of her womb holding a bunch of helium balloons with its snout and the moment it was born it would fly away up into the sky with the balloons never to be seen again. So, yea, I'm pretty happy that didn't happen.
