Ashlee Simpson might be getting married to her boyfriend, Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz! OK! Magazine says:
Noticing a bright bit of bling on the singer's hand, Sauce host Jared Cotter asked if those diamonds on her fingers meant anything significant. At first, the 23-year-old joked, saying,"No I'm not pregnant" before admitting that it is indeed a promise ring from her boyfriend of over a year, Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz.
But being careful not to say too much with her father and manager Joe Simpson waiting in the wings, Ashlee clarified, "It just means that he hasn't asked my Dad yet...""
Well, it looks like the two idiots might finally get engaged. I don't know why this Pete Wentz kid would ever want to marry Ashlee... imagine waking up next to that for the rest of your life here on Earth (or for at least a few years, considering it would be a celebrity marriage). She looks like the birth child of her older sister, Jessica, and a muppet. You remember those muppet movies with those squishy little plush characters with the mishapen noses, the bug-eyes, and scraggily, yearn-like hair. Yea, well, to me, Ashlee looks like one of those, with a little bit of Jessica Simpson DNA thrown in there (which might be an overstatement). Yea, so as much of a weird little idiot this Wentz kid might be, I don't know how he can stand this no-talent muppet-like creature.
Then again, I hear Pete can be pretty heavy into drugs, so that probably helps. I don't do drugs (that's right, I'm a damn role model), but a friend of mine who does 'shrooms all the time told me once: "When you do 'shrooms everything's pretty much the same only a little bit wavy and awesomer!" So, if that's the case, take a little Ashlee Simpson, skew your vision with waves and a hue of awesomeness... and that's probably something like what Pete Wentz sees... which means she's probably more than tolerable-looking to him. Moral of the story: Don't do drugs, kids.
