The Los Angeles Police department released a stement yesterday saying that they are investigating allegations that Britney Spears was drugged! Specifically, Us Magazine says:
Police Capt. Kyle Jackon said "particular suspects have not yet been fully identified ... at this time we don't know whether or not a formal investigation will be initiated." The Robbery-Homicide division will determine if any laws have been violated.
LAPD Officer Jason Lee told Usmagazine.com earlier this month, "We are not investigating Sam Lutfi."
In a six-page declaration (released last month), Lynne Spears had accused Lutfi of grinding up Risperdal, a sleeping medication, and Seroquel, an anti-psychotic drug prescribed to treat bipolar disorder, and giving them to the pop singer."
Wow, this is crazy, this could turn into a full-fledged narcotics investigation! Sure, they haven't stated that it's Sam Lutfi they're after, but most of the fingers are pointing towards that little nugget. Wait, did I just call a grown man a "nugget"? Yea I don't know what that was all about! My apologies.
Anyway, this investigation seems like it's pretty intense with the LAPD "Robbery-Homicide" division coming in. I wonder what the police chief said to let his men know about the severity and importance of this situation. My estimation is that he jumped up on one of the desks at the department and started screaming out "We must help Britney and find out who drugged her! This is no easy task! We must work all hours of the day and night making sure that every substance around her that she may have ingested is carefully examined! That means no empty Frappuccino cup can go overlooked, and no chalupa in her general vicinity will be left untouched!" Ahh, how's that for motivation... checking eaten up chalupas for narcotics residues slipped in there by some strange human trying to drug Britney. Hey, no one said it's an easy job, but someone's got to do it!
