Back in last December Amy Winehouse faced the possibility of being charged for attempting to interfere with a court case involving her husband who was arrested on suspicion of tampering with witnesses involved in an assault charge against him because of an alleged barfight last summer. Today, all charges against Amy herself with respect to that case were dropped! Hey, things are finally looking up for Ms. Winehouse. Specifically, OK! Magazine says:
"Amy is pleased to be discounted from the investigation and thanks the police for their professionalism in their dealings with her,'' reads a statement from her rep, Chris Goodman.
The 24-year-old multiple Grammy-winner found herself in some legal hot water last December after being arrested on suspicion of tampering with witnesses involved in a assault charge against her hubby stemming from an alleged barfight last summer."
Well, that's good. It was sad that such a put-together young woman had to deal with stupid little criminal charges like this. It's just not like Amy to engage in any sort of illegal activity anyway, so I don't know why the courts were wasting their time considering whether or not to charge Amy. It's not like she's been in and out of rehab, smokes various types of street drugs, and was caught on videotape smoking crack a few weeks ago. Nope, none of that happened at all. If things like that DID happen in Amy's life though, I'd start worrying that Amy might actually be a threat to society!
This chick is a joke. Forget criminal charges and prisons, they should just lock her in a cage and put her in the traveling circus with all the other caged carnies with misshapen heads. Maybe then, in such a familiar environment, she'll start making some progress in life. Until then, here's Amy looking pretty anorexic out in London the other day. Gross!
