Yea, so it turns out that the whole duet that Heidi Montag did with Britney Spears was a fraud! PerezHilton.com reports:
"They've been working with a lot of producers on Heidi's new album and one of them gave them the track. They decided to turn it into a duet instead of having Heidi re-record the song with just her vocals because they knew they'd get more press this way.""
Wow, how pathetic is that!? Heidi got a hold of a Britney Spears song and instead of just stealing the music and replacing Britney's voice with her own, she decidedly to fraudulently make it appear to be a duet, unbeknownst to Britney. This is like that one time back in '86 when I took an old cassette tape of Boy George's "Karma Chameleon" single and played it at my grandpa's birthday party and I told him it was an original song I recorded myself and it was my gift to him.
Everyone believed me until my stupid Uncle Bobby started jumping up and down like a little school girl, repeatedly screaming "Oh my God, Boy George! Oh my God, Boy George!". Shortly afterward my grandpa found out that it wasn't me who was singing, but rather that it was a strange British man who wore eye make-up for fun. Needless to say, grandpa beat me pretty bad that day. But hey, at least I had the old guy believing me for a few minutes!
So, with that said, I guess I can't really blame Heidi... sure, she's a pathetic liar with this whole "duet" thing... but I believed it for a while! I'll give her that... she's a clever little sneaky skank! Anyway, here's Heidi out with "The Pratt" looking like the fools that they are over this past weekend. Enjoy, kids!
