It turns out that Amy Winehouse's bacterial skin infection (you can see some scabbing and scarring on her face in the picture above) may have been caused by her putting out a cigarette on her face! The Sun UK reports:
The gross piece of self-harming came in front of stunned diners in a London restaurant.
The troubled star was with pals when she was asked THREE TIMES by staff to put out her Marlboro Light because of the smoking ban.
As she received her final warning, Amy stared straight into the waitress’s eyes and pushed the burning tip of the fag into her own face.
A source at the diner said: “She hardly flinched because she was so high. The whole place was open-mouthed in horror.”
Amy tried to conceal the wound with foundation — but it has now apparently become infected, causing the swelling on her cheek."
Wow, I was feeling bad for Amy because of this strange "impetigo" bacterial skin infection... and all this time she brought it upon herself because she's a crazy drug addict who does crazy stuff when she's high. I've seen people do some pretty crazy things in this life, especially while they were high... but putting a cigarette out on your own face! That's insane!
I always thought that only crazy Russian mobsters did stuff like that. For some reason, when I think of putting cigarettes out on body parts, I just picture a group of Russian organized crime lords in some secret underground poker club drinking vodka and smoking cigs over some little guy strapped to a table... then, everytime they do a shot, they take a long drag from their cigs and put it out on the little guy's face... then they look at each other in a violent, drunken stupor and laugh loud, booming laughs like "Aggggh agghhhh aghhhh aghhhh ahhh! AAAAAhhhhghhh aggghhh aghhh aghh!" But even those evil, insane men aren't crazy enough to do that stuff to themselves... what's wrong with amy!? She's lost it entirely!
