Britney Spears will be making a cameo appearance on the television show "How I Met Your Mother" some time in the near future. Why anyone would ever cast Britney for anything, I don't know... but OK! Magazine says:
The show's rep tells OK!, "We are confirming that Britney will have a guest role on the show this season."
Brit's scenes will reportedly be with the show's lead character, Ted. An insider says she will most likely play the role of "Abby," a girl who works in Ted's doctor's office and is described as "sweet and friendly and scattered and a little nerdy — a female Michael Cera.""
A female Michael Cera!? That's the soft-spoken, innocent yet curious, inexperienced, nerdy kid best known for his roles in Superbad and Juno! And Britney's character is going to be like that!? How is that even possible? What are they going to do to make her nerdy, change her pink wig to a plain brown one and give her glasses... that's not going to be enough if she still shows up on-set wearing mini-skirts with no panties.
Forget about being a scattered, nerdy, secretary type... she'd just be that chunky girl that dresses way too slutty for her weight but is too stupid to realize it. Now, if they need a washed-up pop star to play a clueless office skank past her prime... now THAT's a role for Britney. Ahh, Sweet Jebus, I'll never understand Hollywood!
