Reports now say that a man armed with a rifle was arrested today at Kate Hudson's New York City home. It is unknown if Kate was in the building during the time of the arrest. OK! Magazine says:
Upon receiving a 911 call from a woman claiming to have spotted men on the roof of her building with a rifle, police arrived at the scene to find two young men with a camera and an unloaded rifle in hand.
The men's reported explanation for the props is that they're film students shooting a movie, as New York University is nearby."
Umm... WHAT!? Who goes around New York City with a rifle and a camera in hand in broad daylight and climbs all over buildings!? Did they really think people would see that and think, oh yea, that's normal... those kids with rifles near a celebrity's home... yea, that's cool, that's all it is, no big deal!? All of this seems very pointless and ridiculous... which reminds me, this would be a great premise for a new Nicolas Cage movie! ZING!
Well, I'm just glad Kate's okay... after intially reading headlines that "armed men" were arrested at Kate Hudson's home, I pictured her tied-up and held hostage at gun-point. Then, my imagination being as it is, I pictured Owen Wilson in a big fluffy orange cat costume crashing in through her apartment window and beating up the culprits. Yea, seriously, you can't make that stuff up... I'm starting to wonder if someone slipped hallucinogens in my coffee this morning. I wondered why my colleague, Dan, was laughing at me will I was sipping on my caffeinated beverage today... that sneaky bastard! He's probably just mad at me because I slept with his wife. Oh, what's the matter, Dan? You didn't know that!? Well, looks like someone had the last laugh in our little battle here... doesn't. Sorry it has to be this way, Dan, but when you mess with the best, you better be prepared!
