Amy Winehouse's management is concerned that if she stays in London, she'll never get better. So, now, they are considering having her flown to a rehab center in Cape Town, South Africa to get her the help she needs. Specifically, The Sun UK reports:
A source said: “Amy has admitted she needs to check into rehab again.
“There are too many temptations for her in the UK — people around her in London are making it impossible for her to stay clean for any length of time.
“Her management had considered flying her to a clinic in Israel but are now looking further afield. They are assessing a clinic in Cape Town in South Africa.” "
South Africa!? Why would they want Amy to go to South Africa!? When I think of South Africa, I think of little starving children who eat nothing but pasty rice and dirty water... and they want Amy to go there for recovery!? Amy doesn't need that... what this chick needs is a drug-free environment and some steak. Forget South Africa, I think she should go live with a farm family in Texas! There, she can get the treatment she needs: a nice big steak and a good old-fashioned southern beating to get her on the right track!
