When Kate Bosworth and her co-star in the movie "21", Jim Sturgess, found out that they had to shoot an on-screen love scene, they both figured that the best thing to do was to get drunk and make it happen! People Magazine says:
"We were both so drunk," the Superman Returns star said. "Jim and I became such good friends, we decided to have a couple of drinks, loosen up and go for it."...
"We were on Grey Goose, I think," said the British actor. "It was brilliant for about half and an hour. As we continued to drink ... it just became sloppy and messy. I couldn't stand up at one point.""
See, that's funny, because roughly 96% of all real-life "love scenes" and my life occurred while I was under the influence of alcohol. Sure, I'm not all rich and fancy like these actors... so I usually wasn't "on Grey Goose" when I did the damn deed... it was usually more like some natty lights (Natural Light brand beer) and a carton of Camel cigarettes... but, nevertheless, I know where Kate and Jim are coming from.
It's just easier to make things happen that way... you know, you lose all of your inhibitions, you let loose, and before you know it you're in nothing but a cowboy hat and boots running down the hallway of you're dorm screaming out: "Everyone, lets get naked and ride our horses down by the lake!"... only to find out the next day that you go to school in upstate New York, there are no horses, and there are no lakes! But hey, the whole love-making process before that was always pretty fun... definitely worth the humiliation!
