Reese Witherspoon recently helped lots of children in New Orleans for the new upcoming "Idol Gives Back" TV special! Specifically, Us Magazine reports:
Airing April 9, the show features Witherspoon, 32, at a Children's Defense Fund Freedom School where troubled children learn to become community leaders...
"Once you have children in your life, you can no longer close your eyes to people... who are in a similar situation," Witherspoon told ABC News at the time.
Brad Pitt, Us Power Girl Miley Cyrus, newly single Robin Williams and Mariah Carey will also take part in the Idol Gives Back show."
Aww, that's cute, Reese is just one of those sweet people in the world who can seemingly do no wrong! Helping kids in New Orleans, that's just cute... she really is a true role model. And, it's nice to see that she's teaming up with Brad Pitt, Mariah Carey, and Robin Williams with the idol gives back special. I mean, there really are no better role models in Hollywood than a man who left his wife for a hotter woman (Pitt), a crazy, washed-up, former legendary pop-star (Carey), and a mentally-unstable comedian who just got divorced by his kid's nanny (Williams). ZING! Ahh, Reese, you're like a bright shiny flower in the midst of the hopeless landfill that is Hollywood! Keep up the good work!
