Pamela Anderson is going to have her own documentary-style reality show on E! this summer called Pamela! E! News reports:
The pinup and former Baywatch star will star in a new series for E! about her life, love-wise and other, the network announced Monday.
Pamela is set for a summer debut. Billed not as a reality series but as a "docu-style series," the show is being produced by the makers of the acclaimed feature documentaries The Eyes of Tammy Faye and Inside Deep Throat.
"Pamela will be an artistically rich and visually stunning series," executive producer Randy Barbato said in a statement. "The series will offer an unprecedented look inside the life of one of today's most iconic superstars in the style of a uniquely shot documentary film.""
I don't know why, but I'm kind of excited for this. I always thought that the day-to-day life of a shameless tramp should be documented on video tape and now it's finally happening!!! For some reason, though, I don't see this as a traditional reality show where Pamela just shows everyone what it's like being Pamela herself.
Instead, I keep picturing Bear Grylls, you know, that British guy from "Man vs. Wild" prowling around all discretely with nothing but a camcorder, following Pamela around saying strange things in his outlandish accent like: "Ahh yes, there's Pamela now... a prime example of the big-breasted North American celebrity skank. Now, for a closer look at it, I will disguise myself by jumping inside this camel carcass and slowly dragging my body along the ground until I get closer and closer to her... ahh, yes, and if I'm quite enough, I can sneak right up behind her and get a peak up her skirt... ahh yes, marvelous! No panties! A beautiful sight! You can tell it's been around, for it is a bit ravaged on the edges... but, still, it's breathtaking to be this close to it!"
Yea, now that's entertainment... but, for some reason, I have a feeling that it's not going to really be what I'm hoping for. But hey, what's a man without his dreams!
