Cate Blanchett gave birth to a healthy baby boy over the weekend! People Magazine says:
Their third child, son Ignatius Martin, was born Sunday at a Sydney hospital, according to Australian magazine WHO. Just two days earlier Blanchett had attended her younger sister's university graduation.
The couple, who are based in Australia, already have two sons: Dashiell John, 5, and Roman Robert, 3."
Congratulations, Cate! You've got another little baby boy! There's nothing quite like bringing life into the world, and it's always a celebration when celebrities of any sort squeeze a human out of their womb. Everything here seems pretty standard... except for the fact that the kid's name is Ignatius. That's not something you see every day. What are all the kids going to call him at school? "Iggy"? Yea, I'm pretty sure that's the nickname for Ignatius... "Iggy". So, everyone's going to be calling him "Little Iggy" as he's growing up. That kind of sucks... considering that's the same name I call my... well, nevermind. But those of you out there who know me personally know what I'm talking about!
All right, all right, all poking fun aside, I'm happy for Cate. Even though, ever since she did that whole Bob Dylan movie thing, I keep picturing her as a man... and I have this horrible image in my head of Bob Dylan giving birth to a big baby boy on a kitchen because of that role. Wait, did I just say kitchen table!? Wow, I'm even weirder than I thought!
