Sandra Bullock and her huband Jesse James were struck head-on by a drunk driver Friday night in Gloucester, Massachusetts. Although both cars involved in the accident were totaled, no one was seriously hurt. Specifically, Us Magazine says:
The two were riding in an SUV when a station wagon crossed the center line and hit them, police told the Associated Press.
Both vehicles were totaled.
The driver, Lucille Gatchell, had a blood-alcohol level of 0.20 percent — more than twice the legal limit of 0.08 percent. She is to be arraigned Tuesday."
Wow, that's just scary. Sandra's known for being a relatively decent person and it's shocking that she would find herself in life-threatening situation like this. Thankfully, she and her husband, and the drunk driver were not seriously hurt.
See, this is why the world is disappointing at times... skanks like Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan can drink a few gallons of vodka, snort a few lines of coke, and play slalom with on-coming traffic in their SUVs and nothing ever happens... they just hit a pole or something and the biggest problem they face is that they have to spend money on high-profile lawyers so they avoid jail time. Meanwhile, poor little Sandra is just out with her husband and gets hit head-on in a potentially devastating crash by some drunk stranger. Injustice... I guess it's a part of the celebrity world as well. The jerks prevail and the decent people barely get by. It sounds like the Bush administration! ZING! Okay, okay.. I'm kidding. Sort of. Not really. Oh, you didn't like that? I got a little guy by the name of "Freedom of Speech" on my side though, don't I!? BABBBYYYY!
