So Jay-Z and Beyonce's marriage is officially... umm... official. Yea, that was put a little awkwardly... my apologies! But it's true, they're officially married! No question about it! Specifically, Us Magazine reports:
They took the license home that day, Conkling says, to have their hush-hush April 4 NYC wedding. They signed the document and mailed it in after the ceremony. "We received it back on Friday," Conkling says."
Wow, so it took a couple of weeks for the whole marriage license thing to actually get in Beyonce and Jay-Z's hands and then end up back at the town clerk's office. I didn't realize there was so much procedural stuff that had to go on for a wedding to actually happen... especially with the King of Hip Hop and the Queen of R&B. I figured that Jay-Z would just go to the office with Beyonce and tell them... "Yo, me and B goin' get married." Then the office clerk would say, "And who might you be?" which Jay would respond with "It's your boy, Jay-Hov... Ha-Haaa!".
Then, when they were talking to wedding planners and all that, whenever Beyonce liked a wedding idea but wanted to improve upon it, she would say things like "I want that 'to the left, to the left.'" and "LEMME UPGRADE YA!". Okay, too far? Maybe. But, based on my limited knowledge about hip hop and R&B, I can almost guarantee you that the real thing wasn't too far from that!
