Just a few days after Carmen Electra celebrated her 36th birthday in Las Vegas, it has been confirmed that she and boyfriend Rob Patterson (shown above) are engaged! Specifically, People Magazine reports:
"He told friends three days ago that he got engaged," adds a source. "The ring is a black diamond set in white diamonds."
Patterson, 37, who is the former touring guitarist for Korn, popped the question over the weekend while he and Electra were in Las Vegas to celebrate her 36th birthday, says the source. The couple have been dating less than a year."
This will be Carmen's third marriage. She was previously married to rocker Dave Navarro and former NBA superstar, Dennis Rodman. Now, this sort of presents a little dilemma for me. Sure, Carmen was pretty much one of the hottest chicks in show business when I was a young last in the mid to late nineties... but this chick's been around the block a little bit. I mean, Dave Navarro kind of seemed like a lunatic and Dennis Rodman, well, he was known for having a great ability for pulling down rebounds and dressing up like a drag queen -- an interesting combination of talents to say the least!
Now, this Rob Patterson guy, I guess he used to rock out with Korn, he's marrying Carmen. And sure, she's unbelievably smokin' hot, but is she really the type of chick you want to marry? But, then again, I'd probably do the same thing if I were this guy... because, traditionally, when it comes to women, I'll take anything... and when they look like Carmen Electra... well, if marrying her is what I gotta do to take care of myself... well, hey, I'm all for it. So, with that said, I wish Carmen and Rob a real nice long life together. Sure, they'll probably split in a couple of years (if Carmen's previous marriages are any indication of what's to come), but hey, you gotta get your pumps in while you can, right Rob!? BABBBBYYYYY!
