Tom Cruise is making his first appearance on Oprah since his crazy couch-jumping moment three years ago! Us Magazine says:
Three years after his memorable couch-jumping episode, Winfrey will interview Cruise from his home in Telluride, Colorado, on May 2.
Then, Cruise will appear in her Chicago studio for a second taping on May 5.
The two-part show coincides with the 25th anniversary of Cruise's famous flick Risky Business.
Friends and colleagues will surprise him with taped messages, according to Harpo Productions."
It was three years ago already since that happened!? The whole jumping up and down on Oprah's couch thing... that was legendary. That changed Tom Cruise's image from being one of the most respected names in Hollywood to the biggest joke in the celebrity world. What a lunatic that guy has become huh? The funny thing is though, I feel like I've watched him grow into a bigger and bigger lunatic as time has gone on... and I'm sort of attached to the little guy. I mean, sure, he's a tiny little man with a Napoleon complex that makes him want to attempt to control all humans in the world and rule them with an iron fist. There's something about that that's a little cute... you know, it's a little bit endearing knowing that such a tiny little body can house such a large and ambitious soul!
So, now, one question remains... what crazy antics will Tom be up to on Oprah this time around. I say he and Stedman throw on some boxing gear and fight to the death on national television. Then, the winner gets to make sweet, passionate love to Oprah herself before a live studio audience. Hell, that could be next hit reality show on TV! I can picture it now, various celebs battling week in and week out, scratching and clawing and biting as they fight Stedman for Oprah's love. I have a feeling though, Stedman's going to reign victorious... sure he's a bit old and frail now... but he's got one of those faces that just screams: "I've got a heart of a champion"... I just know it! Anyway, well I guess only time will tell how Tom's new interview with Oprah goes! So, all we can do at this point is wait and see... we'll keep you posted, kids!
