Miley Cyrus is now thanking everyone for their support during this tough time in her life where people have been questioning her integrity because of a somewhat controversial Vanity Fair photoshoot that was released a couple of weeks back. People Magazine says:
"We're all changing," the 15-year-old Cyrus told a screaming crowd Saturday onstage at KIIS-FM's Wango Tango concert in Irvine, Calif. "I thank you for helping me as I grow through that."
The Disney star did not address the controversy directly during her 30-minute set – and she successfully avoided reporters by skipping the red carpet. But – as she did similarly last weekend at an Orlando concert – Cyrus thanked fans for supporting her "through everything that's been going on in life.""
Those controversial Vanity Fair photos helped Miley "evolve" because of all of the difficult things that have "been going on in her life"!? WHAT!? She CHOSE to take those photos and frankly there was nothing wrong with them to begin with in my opinion. It's just the damn over-conservative sexually frustrated American public that mistakes an attempt to make art as the sexual exploitation of a 15-year-old girl. I mean, I see where those people are coming from, but come on... try to look me in the face and tell me that it wasn't just another excuse to get all fired up over nothing!
Anyway, what's all this about all the "support" and the tough times in Miley's life!? She did a somewhat controversial photoshoot... BIG DEAL! A plethora of nameless people's lives are destroyed in Burma because of the devastating cyclone and Miley's talking to us like her photoshoot was basically a near-death experience. What's next? She's going to go to some new high-profile REHAB center that's not for drugs and alcohol, but rather for those certain celebrities who take "somewhat risque" photos! Get the hell out of here! I can't believe this!
