Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz actually got married this past Saturday! OK! Magazine says:
Around noon on Saturday, the groom arrived via limo at the Encinco, Calif., home of Ashlee's dad Joe Simpson, who also officiated over the non-denominational ceremony under white tents.
Big sis Jess, who arrived with on-off beau Tony Romo before noon in the Employee of the Month star's Range Rover, was maid of honor. According to reports, Pete's bulldog Hemingway served as ring-bearer."
Ahh, that's beautiful... despite it being an obvious shotgun wedding and it probably won't last forever... I guess that whole charade of pretending to actually want to be together forever is always a nice thing. I'm happy for Ashlee and Pete, hopefully they'll have a good run together... wait a minute! Did that just say that Jessica Simpson attending her sister's wedding with Tony Romo!? Does this mean that they're back together and all of their problems have been resolved!? I don't know... it could be! I need to find out a little bit more about this!
Sorry Ashlee, I don't care about your wedding... I'm just curious about who your sister's getting it on with these days. Hey, don't look at me, it's not my fault your sister's way better and your whole life has been in the shadow of your way hotter, way more famous big sister! Some of us are born lucky.... others aren't! Deal with it!
