Sharon Stone Blames Bad Karma for China's Earthquakes

Sharon Stone

Sharon Stone blames the devastating earthquakes in China on bad "karma," arguing that China's policy on Tibet is responsible for "bad things" like deadly earthquakes taking the lives of thousands of innocent Chinese people. Us Magazine says:

Sharon Stone is under fire for recently saying that the devastating Chinese earthquakes could have been the result of bad "karma."

In an interview with Hong Kong's Cable Entertainment News, the 50-year-old actress (and staunch Tibetan rights advocate) tied the natural disaster -- which has claimed at least 65,000 lives -- to Beijing's policy on Tibet.

"I'm not happy about the way the Chinese are treating the Tibetans because I don't think anyone should be unkind to anyone else," she said Thursday at a Cannes Film Festival bash.

"And then this earthquake and all this stuff happened, and then I thought, 'Is that karma? When you're not nice that the bad things happen to you?'"'

Yep, that's it, Sharon. You've figured it out. Thousands of innocent people were killed for no reason just because the government in the country they live in has problems with Tibet. Yep, that sounds about right. Those poor, weak villagers... it's almost like they deserved to die for the sins of their government. Or, it could be option B, Sharon: You're an idiot and you should just stop talking. Yea, there is always that.
