Sharon Stone has now openly apologized for saying that the deadly earthquakes in China were due to bad karma because of their policies with Tibet. OK! Magazine says:
Sharon Stone has apologized for suggesting China's devastating earthquakes were the result of "bad karma."
"Due to my inappropriate words and acts during the interview, I feel deeply sorry and sad about hurting Chinese people," Sharon said in a statement. "I am willing to take part in the relief work of China's earthquake, and wholly devote myself to helping affected Chinese people."
During an interview at the Cannes Film Festival, the actress said the May 12 disaster, which killed 68,000 people, was connected to China's policy on Tibet."

See, I never knew Sharon Stone was that STUPID. She's had a pretty good career in Hollywood for years and this just seems like a really stupid thing to do. Not to mention, having all of China hate you because you're a dumb American that runs your mouth about politics way too much in the wrong setting... well, that just can't be good for your image!
