Joe Simpson, the father of Jessica Simpson and Ashlee Simpson says that he is not a controlling father! Us Magazine reports:
“The media says that I try to plan everything - If I had half of the power they give me…They [Ashlee and Jessica] don’t call me and ask me. They call me and tell me.”
He adds that Jessica “... is as happy as I’ve seen her in years.” and gushes about the Dallas Cowboys quarterback, “He’s a great guy. I love Tony to death….He’s just a good kid….”"
You know, if there's one thing you gotta say about Joe Simpson, it's that' you just have to respect him. Sure, I don't buy any of this, I'm sure he's a controlling freak who wants to dictate his daughters lives for his own financial benefit. However, there's one thing about him you have to respect... and no, it's not his genius, his kindness, nor his hearty man-shake. Nope. It's his sperm!
I mean, how does a random guy like him create the perfect specimen of Jessica. Then again, there's Ashlee and uh, yea, not so much! But, hey, I don't blame Joe, he used up everything he had on the first one, it's no surprise the second one came out as a defect! OUCH! Sad but true!
