A close friend of Britney Spears assures us that Britney is "doing great!" You know, just in case you thought she was losing it! Specfically, People Magazine reports:
As Britney Spears continues on her road to recovery, a friend of Spears says things are going well for the singer.
"She's doing great," Palms Casino Resort owner George Maloof tells PEOPLE.
Maloof, who recently had dinner with Spears twice in L.A., says that the two are "good friends," and adds it would be fantastic to have her perform at his Vegas venue.
"I'd love to have her here at the Pearl [Theater]," says Maloof, who stopped by the premiere of The Rocker, starring Rainn Wilson, at the Cinevegas Film Festival. "It would be great.""

Actually, now that I think of it, it would be great for Britney to go to Vegas to perform. She could be a showgirl! Just think about it, she could be doing bad dance move in go-go boots and booby tassels while creepy old guys get excited as they watch her and drink cheap bottles of scotch! Now if that sort of white trash activity doesn't just scream "Britney Spears," then I don't know what does!
