Despite rumors claiming that Nicole Richie and Joel Madden recently had a secret 2 million dollar wedding, Joel has come out and said that these rumors simply are not true! Us Magazine reports:
Joel Madden got his fans excited when he blogged Saturday: "WE DID IT!! NICOLE AND I FINALLY GOT MARRIED!! Click here for pictures!!"
"HAHA. JUST KIDDING," Madden, 30, blogged. "So I feel really stupid even posting this, but I've been getting calls and texts from my family all week asking me why they weren't invited to my wedding."
"I guess the only answer I could give them was that I didn't know we were having one!" he added. "So I just found that Star magazine wrote some story about a 2 MILLION dollar wedding we are supposed to be having, and that's where it came from.
"Sooooo if you were pi--ed at me for not inviting you or even telling you, don't blame me, there's nothing to worry about," Madden wrote. "It's just Star magazine. How long do you think it will be before they write we called it off, or we broke up? I give them a week or two.......""
