Rafaello Follieri, Italian businessman and ex-boyfriend of Anne Hathaway, could face life in prison for fraud! OK! Magazine reports:
Raffello Follieri, Anne Hathaway's ex-boyfriend, has been arrested for fraud, U.S. authorities announced Tuesday.
The Italian businessman was charged with conspiracy, wire fraud and money laundering for spearheading a faux real estate project he claimed to be linked to the Catholic Church.
He is expected to appear at the U.S. District Court in Manhattan later today.
"It's a little premature at this time. I am hopeful we will be able to resolve everything," his rep says in a statement."

Us Magazine also says that Follieri could face life in prison! Wow, that's when you know it's bad... when you tell people you're working with the Pope to do good things and it turns out you're just lying and robbing people and now could face some serious prison time. Poor Anne Hathaway, she must be embarassed to be associated with this guy in any way. If she's smart, though, she'll distance herself from him as much as she can! It can't be good for publicity!
