Oprah Winfrey has successfully complete her 21-day vegan detox! Yay for Oprah! Us Magazine says:
"I want some wine. Bordeaux 82. Just one glass at sunset, almost broke down and had a glass. I didn't," Winfrey wrote on her blog Sunday. "[But] tomorrow is another day. That's my mantra for now."
Instead of caving in to her craving - Winfrey stuck to the plan.
"Main meal was a large baked potato with sautéed onions, herbs and olive oil. And fresh green salad with avocado and tomato, lemon, garlic and olive oil," Winfrey wrote.
Her menu featured food like tofu scramble roasted tomato, grilled onion and sweet garlic aioli quesadillas with jicama slaw."
I could probably use a little detox action myself, knowing that I've been poisoning my body for years now with various harmful, yet sometimes mind-expanding, substances. However, I have a little rule that demands me not to eat any food that I can't pronounce and that's pretty much everything that Oprah Winfrey was eating during her vegan detox. So, I guess it's not for me, but I must congratulate you, Oprah. Well done!
