Mitch Winehouse, father of troubled British singer, Amy Winehouse, is worried that Amy could die "a very slow and painful death!" Us Magazine reports:
"She won't die of a drug overdose, it won't be that quick," he told Sky News television Saturday, according to BBC News. "She would die, unfortunately, of emphysema. That would be the most likely scenario if she didn't check her behavior, which she is doing."
He added that her incarcerated husband Blake Fielder-Civil should check into rehab when he gets out of prison.
"If he comes out and they go back to doing what they were doing before, she's going to have a serious health problem," he said.
"He's a fit young man, he could probably carry on like this for the rest of his life. Amy can't and he has to understand that," Mitch added."
Wow, it must feel weird being some old guy talking about the possible "slow and painful death" of your 24-year-old daughter! That's insane! I hope that Mitch is just overreacting and Amy is here to stay for a while though. I mean, after all, she's not so bad, she's just a little crazy! I kind of like it, it adds a little spice to the celebrity world!
