“The Hills” stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are going to Iraq to perform for the troops. Which should be interesting, since they don’t actually do anything.
Heidi was inspired to go overseas by her stepbrother, a military vet who died in a hotel accident back in March. The couple getting some help with the trip from Meghan McCain, daughter of John McCain. Pratt told Extra:
This dude doesn’t know what’s going on. If your girlfriend meets with the daughter of a senator, you should probably ask her about it. Maybe I’m crazy, but I would kinda want to know whether I was going to Iraq or not. But Pratt’s not even pretending to pay attention or care. The guy just wants to party. I remember when I was in college, my girlfriend would plan for us to go out to dinner, and I’d always forget, and then I’d have to apologize while telling her I already made plans to go to the kegger at Kappa Kappa Gamma or something like that. That’s Spencer. I guarantee when this trip actually rolls around, he’ll be like, “Wait, the Iraq trip is today? Oh, umm, yeah, well, I sort of told the guys I’d do a case race tonight. Sorry babe. Have fun though.”
