It was reported earlier today that Christian Bale had been arrested, allegedly for assaulting his mom and sister. And, as expected, there was more to the story than originally revealed.
Bale has left the police station, and his reps have issued the following statement:
"Christian Bale attended a London police station today, on a voluntary basis, in order to assist with an allegation that had been made against him to the police by his mother and sister.
Mr. Bale, who denies the allegation, cooperated throughout, gave his account in full of the events in question, and has left the station without any charge being made against him by the police. At this time, there will be no further comment by Mr. Bale."

The word going around now is that Bale was accused of verbal assault. Apparently in the U.K. you can get arrested for yelling at people. Thank God they don’t have that law in America. Except at the DMV, of course. I guess they need it there, though. It’s what makes the DMV the model of efficiency that it is. Anyway, bottom line, Batman doesn’t beat up girls, and England is like the DMV.
