Yesterday, Miley Cyrus apologized for her infamous Vanity Fair spread, which shows the 15-year old posing in nothing but a bed sheet. But it turns out the statuterrific singer/actress isn’t really sorry at all.
Inside sources are saying that Cyrus is interested in the lead role in the new film Undiscovered Gyrl. The movie is based on an Allison Burnett book, and the plot revolves around a “lovable, lost suburban girl who descends into a life of reckless partying and promiscuity.”
You lied to me, Miley Cyrus! How can I ever trust you again?!?
Also, there are nude scenes. MSNBC has a source:
So was Miley’s Vanity Fair shoot an intentional transition toward this type of adult role?
That would make sense. I can understand Miley being tricked into those Vanity Fair pictures, but at some point, you would think her parents, manager, or publicist would step in and say, “hmm, maybe taking pictures of a 15-year old in just a bed sheet might not go over well.” It wouldn’t be shocking at all if this was a calculated move.
What would be shocking, however, is if someone cast a 15-year old in a movie with a bunch of nude scenes. Remember when everyone used to have those countdown clocks to Ashley and Mary Kate Olsen’s 18th birthday? Seems like our country has given up on that whole “waiting” thing and switched to the “Whatever, Close Enough” policy. This is probably a bad idea.
