The FBI has confiscated Anne Hathaway’s private journals in an attempt to strengthen its case against Raffaello Follieri.
Follieri is currently facing 11 counts of fraud and money laundering. He and Hathaway dated for 4 years, breaking up just before his arrest in June. The feds confiscated Hathaway’s diaries -- princess and regular -- with the belief that they might contain incriminating evidence against the Italian businessman.
There were also rumors that Hathaway willingly aided the FBI in its case against Follieri. From the Daily News:
Hathaway's rep declined to comment on "nonsense" and "false assumptions."
Whatever, she’s innocent. Just because a girl makes a guy do something he doesn’t want to, that doesn’t mean it’s a conspiracy. If that were the case, they’d start a police department in every Olive Garden, and station cops outside all theaters showing the “Sex & The City” movie.
