It hasn’t even been a year since the release of Britney’s “Blackout,” but she’s already back in the studio working on her next album. OK! Magazine reports that Britney Spears will reunite with Justin Timberlake for one of the tracks.
I, for one, am looking forward to this duet. One of the funniest moments in music history is in the Black Eyed Peas song “Where Is The Love?,” when Fergie and Timberlake are signing at the same time. You can’t tell which one is the guy and which one is the girl. It’s pure comedy.
However, I won’t say I’m surprised by this news. “Blackout” didn’t do great sales-wise, so Britney probably wants a big name for her next album. They broke up 6 years ago and have dated a combined 8,500 people since, so I doubt there are still hard feelings. And Timberlake will duet with anyone. Seriously, I called him up the other day and asked if he would do a duet with me for my answering machine message. He’s flying in on Tuesday and we’re gonna knock it out. I’ll be selling it as a ringtone come Wednesday.
