According to the NY Daily News, the condom company LifeStyles is interested in hiring Miley Cyrus as its spokesperson. Cyrus is 15-years old. LifeStyles’ VP of Statutory, I mean, umm, Marketing, says that this endorsement would be part of the company’s plan to educate teenagers.
'With recent reports showing that one out of four teenage girls has an STD and the high level of teenage pregnancy, we believe that Miley is both influential and relatable to this afflicted set - and is the obvious choice to get the message of safe sex out to teens across America.'"
LifeStyles is ready to offer Cyrus $1 million in compensation as well as a lifetime supply of condoms. What they seem to be overlooking is the fact that Miley Cyrus wears a promise ring and has made it clear that she plans on saving herself until marriage. She’s even responsible for starting a promise ring trend among young celebrities and teens.
Heck, even I started wearing a promise ring because of her. Of course, I just use mine to remind myself to pick up bread on the way home from work. I also have a set of different colored rings to remind me which girls are working at the strip club on what night. The green ring means Jazz is dancing, the purple ring means it’s Destiny’s night on the pole. It’s important to have reminders.
