Apparently no one told Jamie Lynn Spears that a shotgun wedding is supposed to take place before your baby is born, because Spears just announced that she and impregnator Casey Aldridge will be tying the knot by the end of the year.
Spears gave birth to baby Maddie in June. She also purchased a house in Mississippi in order to raise the child free from paparazzi and the stresses of Hollywood. Spears and Aldridge will hold their wedding ceremony at the house, in an effort to make it as low-key as possible.
A friend of Spears tells OK! Magazine:
That’s very noble and unSpearslike of her. Unfortunately, there’s a zero percent chance the paparazzi will leave them alone and let them have this wedding in peace. There’s also a 94% chance these two will be broken up by the year 2011 and Spears will be forced to pay alimony of Federline-esque proportions. There’s also a 41% chance that, if current trends continue, we may one day see a Louisiana strip club staffed entirely by members of the Spears family (“Wednesday night is Ladies’ Night at ‘Tip Me Baby One More Time’”). If only Britney didn’t ruin it by having a bunch of boys. So selfish.
