The other day, Amy Winehouse was taken to the hospital after consuming a dangerous mix of drugs.
Winehouse’s father, Mitch, believes that someone spiked his daughter’s drink with ecstasy. Worse yet, he thinks it may have been a friend. And Mitch has vowed his revenge. It’s just like a Steven Seagal movie, except this started before 3AM. From The Sun:
He is convinced that one of her hangers-on was responsible and he’s waiting for a toxicology report to show what caused her to fit.
If his suspicions are proved right, he wants someone to be punished. He is seriously unhappy about Amy’s flat being a stop-over for randoms and wants an end to it."
I think what he meant to say was, someone spiked her ecstasy with a drink. I’m sure Amy wondered why her ecstasy tablet was suddenly shaped like a glass and filled with Midori sour. But I’m guessing one of the homeless vagrants she had invited up to her apartment convinced her to drink it by saying something insightful, like, “come on Amy, just drink it.”
