The UK Telegraph is reporting that Quentin Tarantino wants Britney Spears to play a “thrill-seeking stripper” in a remake of the 1965 film Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!
A source said: "Quentin is convinced Britney will be brilliant. She's delighted. She thinks it could turn her career around."
"It is perfect Tarantino material. He wanted to get Britney first. She's playing the most important character.”
Anyone who has seen the “Gimme More” video knows this is probably a bad idea, but then again, look at what Tarantino did for John Travolta.
I called Britney to get a comment on this story, and she told me, “It sounds like a great concept and I’m very intrigued.”
Unfortunately it turns out I had hit the wrong number on my phone and instead of Britney Spears, I was talking to Britney Jackson, a girl I went to high school with. She is a stripper though, if that helps. And a thrill-seeker, too. One time we were at a party and she stole my car and drove it through the sliding glass doors of a Macy’s. That was around the time we stopped keeping in touch.
So, take it from a car-stealing stripper I sat next to in 11th grade biology: This movie is going to be great!
