A disgruntled ex-employee of The Price is Right is suing the show for wrongful termination. Deborah Curling filed a lawsuit against CBS and FremantleMedia North America, the production company behind the show.
Curling also singled out Bob Barker in the suit, claiming that the ex-“Price is Right” host had her demoted after she testified against him in a separate wrongful termination suit. Man, “The Price is Right” sounds like a great place to work. From OK!:
She had been seeking unspecified damages."
Yesterday a judge dismissed allegations against Barker, and his name was subsequently dropped from the lawsuit.
The only fair way to settle this is by using the “Price is Right” games to make legally binding decisions. Like, the judge will get two spins of the big wheel, and she goes over a dollar, then the whole case is dismissed. Under a dollar and the plaintiff gets to play Plinko to decide the payout, which comes in the form of either cash or home goods. “Come on, ten thousand dollars!!!!! Aww, not the patio set!!!”
