Heroes star Hayden Panettiere is taking some heat today for turning away a homeless man who asked the actress for money. The homeless guy approached Hayden during the recent Comic-Con convention in San Diego. Unfortunately he didn’t walk away with any cash. From Star:
"When he said no, she apologized and assured him that she would find him later," the source says."
That doesn’t sound all that bad to me. It doesn’t help that Star used the headline “Hayden Panettiere Not So Heroic.” You throw that title on a story about someone saving kittens from burning buildings and they’ll still ending up sounding like a jerk. It’s like how MTV plays Coldplay during every sad scene to make it seem 10 times worse. Two people can be having a normal conversation, but you hear “The Scientist” in the background and all of a sudden it’s the most dramatic hour on television. So, to sum up, Hayden Panettiere hates the homeless, and Coldplay makes sad music.
