In the aftermath of the now infamous airport brawl between Nikki Blonsky's family and the family of America's Next Top Model contestant Bianca Golden, Nikki's dad Carl has been released from jail after posting $3,000 bail but has been ordered to remain on the island until his trial on August 19th. Us Magazine reports:
A police constable tells Entertainment Tonight that he was freed after posting $3,000 bail awarded to him by the Chief Justice on Monday morning.
Carl (who was initially denied bail August 8) must remain on the island and his travel documents are in police custody, ET reports.
He is due to appear in court August 19."
Well that doesn't sound like a bad deal. Nikki Blonsky's dad was released from jail for a few grand and now he's forced to hang out on the island of Turks and Caicos for another week. Ahh, that's great. That's not a battle with the law, that's an extended vacation! I wish I was so lucky to get in a big brawl and get forced to stay in a beautiful Caribbean island because of pending assault charges! That sounds like the best vacation ever!!!
