E! Online is reporting that the single "Womanizer" by Britney Spears won't be out for another week. It was supposed to be released yesterday. The horror!
According to label sources, the official premiere of "Womanizer," Spears' first single off of her upcoming album Circus, has been pushed back due to an undisclosed issue with "the mix"—i.e., not Britney's vocals, per se, but rather how all facets of the track sound together.
Originally set to drop this morning, the masterminds at Jive Records' Zomba Label Group are holding the song for at least another week, meaning radio stations won't be spinning the tune until Sept. 29 at the earliest.

They probably actually listened to the single and realized how bad it was, then delayed it another week in hopes Britney would be killed by an escaped zoo animal. Everyone likes a song by a dead person.
In a world where Jessica Simpson can top the country charts, anything is possible, including by not limited to Britney Spears being a success again. It's highly unlikely and I have a better chance of waking up tomorrow with a normal sized penis. But maybe that's possible too. I can dream.
