Britney Spears has agreed that she can't do much of anything on her own without messing it up, so she'll leave it up to her father, Jamie Spears. USMagazine has the report:
Along with attorney Andrew Wallet, Britney Spears' father was granted permanent legal control of his daughter, a court ruled Tuesday.
Jamie Spears was first put in control of his daughter's affairs Feb. 1 following her two forced hospitalizations in January. His temporary conservatorship was set to expire Dec. 31.
But after a lengthy closed-chambers meeting Tuesday and evaluation of her mental health records, Spears' court-appointed attorney told the court commissioner that the singer had no objections with her father remaining in control.

I don't know much about the father, but thank all things holy they didn't put Lynne Spears in charge of anything. She'd write a book about it and whore them out some more. I'm convinced if Britney got AIDS, Lynne would release a pop-up book 3 months later depicting how it happened. Although that would be awesome and I'd definitely buy it.
